League employee spotlight: Meet Camille

Ever wonder what it’s like behind the scenes at League? Each month, we’ll be featuring one of our talented team members in the League Employee Spotlight series.

Let’s meet Camille (Cam for short), a Customer Success Manager at League:

What did you study and why?

I first completed a B.Com at McGill. Then, I went to Law School at Université de MontréaI. I love school! I became a lawyer because I wanted to work closely with people and businesses, and help them solve problems. I also thought Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde was a boss!

What drew you to League?

In all my previous jobs, I was known to be a health and wellness advocate. While articling at a big firm, I organized workouts and meditation breaks at lunch with all my teammates to help us release stress and be more productive in the afternoon. I truly believe that if you prioritize people’s well-being, they will be the best version of themselves.

What does a Customer Success Manager do?

We are the voice of the customer within League. We are their strongest advocate!

What do you love most about your job?

I love that I get to contribute to making people healthier and happier everyday. That’s pretty amazing, no? I also love my desk neighbor, Alana (also known as sunshine).

What type of person do you think would excel in a Customer Success role at League?

A team player. Customer Success is a team sport. You won’t have answers to many of the questions coming your way, so you’ll need support from your peers within your team, as well as within the entire company.

Someone who is enthusiastic. It’s often said that life is 90% how you react to it, and a great CSM at League will embody this. You are the frontline contact for the customer, so things might get tough sometimes. You gotta keep that smile going.

What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?

  • Authentic
  • Resourceful
  • Honest

If you could be an animal, which would you pick and why?

My friends often tell me that my spirit animal is the salmon because salmon swim “up the river” (against the current). I’m ok with being compared to a fish because I happen to be a passionate scuba diver. My boyfriend also says I’m a good catch….
