Work at League

League began as an idea to give everyone the power to act everyday and live longer, happier lives.

Our Story

In 2014, Mike Serbinis and fellow founding partners, Dan Leibu, Dan Galperin and Todd Humphrey, saw an opportunity in the healthcare space. They observed that health technology was progressing, but consumers were being left behind. At a time when there’s an app for just about everything, the antiquated health insurance industry and benefits infrastructure left people buried under a pile of paperwork.

League began as a journey to provide on-demand health and wellness services: access to a massive network of health professionals to be booked at a moment’s notice, paired with a seamless payment system. But the idea ended up bigger than the founders anticipated. League quickly became a hit with businesses, who urged them to provide spending accounts and insurance, along with health and wellness offerings.

Now, League is a company that gives employers and employees more power over their healthcare.

At League we like to walk the walk.

At League, we like to walk the walk. We’re not only encouraging employers and their employees to Be Better, we do it for our team, too. We know the importance of having a workplace that puts the health and wellness of employees first, and we try to focus on that every day.

Oh, and we know the importance of a strong and unifying culture at a start-up. Here’s Mike Serbinis on the importance of culture at a company like League.
