Launching the League Health Benefits Experience (HBX)

Unveiling HBX at SHRM 2019

In 2014, our founders set out to fix a broken employee health benefits system. Today, we’re the health benefits experience platform for some of the world’s most forward-thinking companies like Lush Cosmetics, Unilever, KPMG and L’Occitane, managing costs and turning insurance and benefits into a competitive advantage for employers.

Since day one, our vision for health benefits is that they should be flexible, personalized, preventative and easy to use.

A proactive response to a changing health landscape

We’re heading towards a health care crisis. Every year, the costs of delivering employee health care benefits goes up, but people use them less and less. Typically, benefits are a fragmented ecosystem of expensive point solutions that are difficult for HR leaders to manage, and close to impossible for employees to navigate. We’ve taken the complexity out of this process by acting as a centralized operating system for employee health benefits. It’s an easily-accessible and engaging experience that employees love and use. On average, 70 percent of League members engage with the platform monthly, with one-third to one-half visiting every two to three days It’s the reason we have a Net Promoter Score of 84, eight times higher than the industry standard of 8.

Introducing the League Health Benefits Experience (HBX)

HBX is a next-generation digital solution designed to provide a single access hub for employees to engage with their health, lifestyle and benefit programs. The always-on experience helps employees proactively leverage employer-sponsored programs to improve health and productivity while reducing health care and administration costs. The cloud-based infrastructure also connects employees with flexible spending accounts, curated health journeys, and on-demand, live health and benefits support. It’s the foundation of preventive health, driving better health and reducing costs.

It’s also helping us win awards—most recently, the Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award for best practices in North American Insurtech, Health and Wellness.

League CEO and founder Mike Serbinis recently launched HBX at SHRM 2019 in Las Vegas. Get the full details here.
