Attracting millennials can be hard – if you want to do it, you’ve got to be a millennial. At least that’s what you might get from reading this article by Benefits Canada.

According to Benefits Canada, nearly half of millennial employers provide employee benefits programs, in contrast to 20% of baby boomer employers. And while the older generation tends to stick with traditional benefits, younger demographics are looking for a more flexible alternative that includes coverage for health and wellness products and services, such as gym memberships and running gear, or acupuncture and massage.
So if you’re a business owner hoping to attract and retain the next generation of workers, it may be time to rethink your current employee benefits plan, or—if you don’t have one—consider getting one before you spend time and money on future recruitment efforts.
